What Is a Step Study?
In ACA, a Step Study is a group of ACA fellow travelers who meet weekly to engage in a dedicated study of the Steps. It is an opportunity to work the steps at a deeper level than during regular ACA meetings. All members of twelve-step fellowships are welcome to join us.
In ACA Toronto, Step Study participants commit to 17 weeks of meetings. The first three weeks of a Step Study are open (anyone can come); for the rest of the Study, the meetings are closed.
For regular Step Studies, You will need a yellow ACA book (usually called the “Yellow Book”) called the Twelve Steps of Adult Children which can be purchased at the meeting for $20.00.
For Laundry List Step Studies, you will need the Laundry List Workbook, which can be purchased at the meeting for $20.00.
